Pickleball

Pickleball’s the name of the game, and those who know describe it as invigorating and contagious. An easy-to-learn sport, pickleball can be played by people of all ages and skill levels and is a great way to burn off unwanted calories, sharpen your eye-hand coordination, and refine your agility. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Come join the fastest growing sport in America!

Free, member drop-in pickleball play in the Club’s gymnasium Monday-Friday from 1-3pm.

Starting at the Tennis Facility Tuesday, September 10th, Drop In Pickleball playtime hours will be 1:30pm - 3:30pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. There is a court fee for these drop-in sessions. Contact them at 208-529-0300 for details.

The Basics

  1. A fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.

  2. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net.

  3. Played with a paddle and a plastic ball.
